Everyone experiences and expresses grief in their own way following the loss of a loved one or a major life change.

Couples Counseling

Couples Counseling
Couples Counseling
Tracey offers couples (marriage) counseling to support relationships that may be considering separation, seeking improved intimacy, or are facing other challenges or misunderstandings. In couples counseling, it is the relationship that is the focus, although each partner is expected to focus on self-awareness and self-improvement.

Stress Management

Stress Management
Stress Management
Without stress management, all too often your body is always on high alert. Over time, high levels of stress lead to serious health problems and a negative impact on your relationships and quality of life.

Family Counseling

Family Counseling
Family Counseling
Families benefit from therapy if they have experienced a stressful event in their lives that has strained family relationships, like a financial hardship, divorce, or the death of a loved one. Also, it may be an effective treatment for mental health concerns that have impacted the entire family, like depression, substance abuse, chronic illness, and food issues, or as a tool to solve communication problems, reduce interpersonal conflict, or curb behavioral problems in children and adolescents.

Parenting Support

Parenting Support
Parenting Support
All moms, dads, and caretakers benefit from professional help to cope with parenting issues. Tracey can help you acquire the skills necessary to manage discipline and reduce conflicts.

Addiction & Recovery

Addiction & Recovery
Addiction & Recovery
The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Among alcoholics with otherwise good health, social support, and motivation, the likelihood of recovery is good. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning.

Other Services Provided

Tracey can help survivors of abuse express and process difficult emotions associated with the abuse. Developing self-compassion and self-care strategies for managing moments of overwhelming emotion will help you learn to trust again.
Codependency can be challenging to change alone since these behaviors are often learned early in life and are reinforced over many years. Resolving codependent behaviors can improve relationships, decrease depression and anxiety, and strengthen self-esteem.
Divorce is often emotionally traumatic for both partners. Tracey can provide a rational and objective perspective to help you through the process of uncoupling, which is often mentally, physically, and financially demanding with feelings of guilt, depression, anxiety, grief and fear.
Tracey can help people who have experienced trauma and those diagnosed with PTSD make sense of their experiences and feelings, develop plans to stay safe, learn healthy coping skills, and connect with other resources and support.
Tracey can help identify the root cause of anxiety and work on those deeper concerns. This can help reduce or eliminate symptoms in a relatively short time, allowing you to resume regular activities and regain a sense of control.
Tracey will help you recognize and access your strength, autonomy, and capacity for change. An effort to understand and heal the source will often improve treatment outcomes and provide some relief from depression.
Recognizing that recovery involves not just the absence of disordered thoughts and behaviors about eating and the perfect body, but in recovering a sense of authentic identity, cultivating self-acceptance, and developing self-esteem.
Each experience of grief is unique, complex, and personal. Tracey will tailor treatment specifically to meet your needs. For example, she might help a bereaved individual find different ways to maintain healthy connections with the deceased through memory, reflection, ritual, or dialogue about the deceased and with the deceased.
Addressing the communication (verbal and nonverbal) styles of the family, and other individual issues that may be interfering with the cohesiveness of the family system, Tracey helps families learn to understand one another better, communicate more effectively, and work proactively to disrupt unhealthy patterns.
